Erica is a Worcester UK based composer and arranger. She grew up in York and alongside her A-levels, studied composition with John Stringer at the University of York.  Some of her early compositions were performed by renowned saxophonist Snake Davis. Erica then went on to study music at the University of Birmingham and specialised in composition with Vic Hoyland and Erik Oña. While at Birmingham, Erica had her work performed by Birmingham Contemporary Music Group. She continues to compose choral and instrumental music and music for theatre.

Musicals

Never Land

Erica composed two full scale musicals alongside playwright Catherine McDonald. Never Land - A Peter Pan Musical was originally performed at Edinburgh Fringe 2005 and subsequently for Great Ormond Street Hospital's Peter Pan themed picnics in Kensington Gardens in 2005 and 2006. Erica and Catherine also appeared with the cast on ITV's Fortune: Million Pound Giveaway in February 2007, on which they raised £15,000 for GOSH and received acclaim from the show’s panel of celebrity millionaire judges, including Duncan Bannatyne and Jeffrey Archer. Never Land was later revised and performed at Abbeyfest, Merton Abbey Mills, London in 2008.

Blood From Stone

Erica and Catherine's second collaboration, Blood From Stone, was performed at Edinburgh Fringe 2007 and received a commendation in the MTM:UK Musical Theatre Matters awards that year.
